Imagine throwing your vegetable peelings inside, and it transforms them into a treasure for your garden or home plants. Now, let’s talk tech. A blockchain acts as a super-transparent ledger that tells you exactly where your food has been before it lands on your plate. So, you’re dining in a restaurant and you order caprese. With the help of this tech, you can peek into the entire journey of those tomatoes - from the farm where they were grown, across the miles they traveled, to the exact moment they arrived at the restaurant. It’s transparency to the max, ensuring everything is fair, square, and eco-friendly. Moreover, restaurant leftover food doesn't go to waste anymore. All leftovers are placed into special containers, and, using an app, a local shelter is notified that there's fresh, tasty food ready for pickup. We've created what's called a 'circle of life' for food - we grow it, we eat it, and whatever’s left gets turned back into something useful, whether that's a nutrient-boost for new crops or a meal for someone who needs it.
