USA will adopt universal healthcare

In order to maintain their military-industrial complex and their place as the world's policeman, the leaders in Washington will start having to make drastic budget cuts. In spite of the size of the AMA and other lobbies who don't want it, Congress will pass a bill to adopt universal healthcare similar to the UK's system. With this system, life expectancy will increase in the USA by two or three years while the amount of money spent by the government on healthcare will drop to a third of the current amount.

Marriette Deckard Correction to my last comment I meant to say two tiered systems in Canada, France and Australia. 14 Mar 2019
Marriette Deckard Current political debates and Pew polls have shown that younger generation in the United States are in support of social democratic norms including universal healthcare. Whether this pans out as a system similar to the NHS in the U.K. or a two tier single payer as in Canada, France and the U.S. remains to be seen and is currently being hotly debated. That said, it stands to reason that by 2030 the U.S. will finally catch up to the developed world on this front especially as geopolitical pressures continue to destabilize the hegemony the U.S. has over global policy and coordination. 14 Mar 2019
