World without beards

Interfaces of augmented reality applications will be reshaped in accordance with the preferences and user profiles. If someone, for example, finds bearded men annoying, this information is automatically transferred to the public profile of the person (with his consent, of course). This beard hater will never see any “vegetation” on the surrounding faces.

In fact, the notion of an objective reality will disappear. People will see different things looking at the same physical object - history of the building, the investment estimate, the tangle of communications.

Louis-Philippe Bellier OCR andfacial recogn software for 'security' companies (note NSA) already does that easily. Only time will tell when it's available to the public (note leaked). -Lulz 06 Feb 2019
Seth Weishaar Hmmmm. I knew Augmented Reality would do stuff like tell you who a person is, what this building is/history. But never thought it could be used to make you look how you want to look/how others see you, and them being able to change how they see you as well. I wonder if this would also work with sounds, being able to choose a voice you want/hiding your voice. Heh maybe a incognito mode. 06 Feb 2019
Paramee Samarathunga It seems appropriate yet I think People's emotional level will be degraded because no one believes in what truly appears to be but they create a brand new version of the same object as they want it to be. What if they make criminals and make them appear in other's perspective when he's actually an innocent percent. This will create a great opportunity to those of identity thieves, bank robbers and etc.... (in my opinion many crimes may record) 06 Feb 2019
André Muniz That's the same kind of technology that could be used to fabricate enemies as in Black Mirror's Men Against Fire. So as much as I agree it could happen, I hope it doesn't 06 Feb 2019
Austin Spencer Peters The most unrealistic thing about this, is someone not liking beards. 06 Feb 2019
