Enough genetic material collected to resurrect H. Neanderthalensis & H. Erectus

Enough genetic material to resurrect a viable population of Homo Neanderthalensis and Home Erectus has been collected. Additionally, sufficient knowledge has been garnered to proceed, albeit with some minor technical hurdles.

Whilst the cultures of these people could never be replaced or fully reconstructed, serious facsimiles or "best guesses" could be established to give these people a running start at self-sufficiency.

Ethical consideration for such a project would need to be resolved before such a project would, or even should, begin.

Emily Hmm... I'm not sure. If you had put "Collected or generated/simulated" then I would agree completely, but limitations with physical objects and genetic material are huge and the other way to get said genetic data is through currently living humans who maintain some of that genetic material, but a good portion has been lost from both and while it can be reconstructed in a simulated way, it won't be based on records we have either in the physical world or within DNA. It will be a "best guess".
