Droughts used to be common in California. With the onset of the global warming, the entire region was at risk of an economic and environmental disaster. Before it was too late, architects came up with a long-term innovation project - Cloud Crafts - towers capable of generating rain and snow clouds. They are built along the Pacific coast and are shaped like a palm tree with large leaves.
The upper level of each tower represents an intelligent engineering construction that determines the exact amount and timing of the release of chemical mixtures to manipulate clouds. The purpose-made cable netting catches the rainfall and syphons it down to irrigate multi-level farms and gardens situated in the lower tiers. There are also residential flats of farmers and workers, who provide services to the complex construction of the tower.
