Cities inhabited solely by robots will emerge. They will be constructed as a prototype of the idea of colonization of other planets. People will send autonomous robots to carry out missions for humanity: robots will build towns, develop the infrastructure, everything that is necessary for mining on other planets, the products will be transported back to Earth. Sending people on these planets will be simply unprofitable and risky.

mypie mcgaming I think this to be highly likely. However, I don't think these "cities" will resemble cities so much as they will very large, self-sustaining factories, because, unless human developers deliberately take artistic liberties in their design, there will be no elements of culture. So, no monuments, no town squares, no residential and business districts. This seems rather obvious on the surface, but one might not realize how different it will make these robot "cities" appear,
