São Paulo residents have long used taxi helicopters for personal transportation. By 2040, this transport is used daily by thousands of people trying to escape the crush in buses and on the subway. Most cars do not run on gasoline — the government supports citizens who care about the environment by not taxing owners of electric vehicles.
The streets of São Paulo teem with robot cleaners that sort the garbage and send it for recycling. Recycled materials were used even in the construction of the ball-topped stadium. The stadium complex also houses a soccer museum and several youth sections. Inside the ball at the top is a restaurant with a viewing platform and a venue for concerts.
